Plate cryolipolysis is a non-invasive technique for reducing localised fat; it helps to improve body contour; reduce localised fat; improve skin firmness; and eliminate fat on the arms;The most common areas for treatment are: the abdomen, flanks, thighs and arms. In some cases, it can also be applied to smaller areas, such as the double chin; the technique involves controlled thermal induction through contact with the skin, generating a cold element.In this way, the triglycerides present in the adipocytes are crystallised, as they are sensitive to the cold, targeting only the subcutaneous fat whilst preserving adjacent tissues and the skin. As they undergo apoptosis, the crystallised adipocytes lead to a gradual reduction in the volume of adipose tissue.
